- High-fibre foods – include more fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds that are high in fibre which can help reduce uric acid.
- Potassium-rich foods – like avocado, raw cultured dairy, coconut water, salmon, squash, bananas and apricots can help balance intracellular fluid relieving gout.
- Celery is useful for treating a wide range of joint pains, gout, kidney and liver infections, skin disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, and urinary tract infections.
Consuming celery seed extract and celery juice been shown to decrease uric acid build-up in the body.
- Fresh berries and cherries – Berries and especially cherries, strawberries can help neutralize uric acid.
- Cherries and Grapes: Make a natural anti-inflammatory non-alcoholic cocktail by mixing equal parts of unsweetened black cherry juice with dark grape juice. Drink 3 to 6 glasses daily until the pain has eased.

- Over-acidic diet can increase problems such as gout or arthritis.

- White table salt – Sodium as it can cause tissue swelling and increase gout.
