Oligospermia or a low sperm count a condition in which a man has fewer sperm cells than normal in his semen that the penis releases during orgasm – the most common cause of a male infertility.
A complete lack of sperm or ZERO sperm count is called azoospermia.
A typical sperm count is more than 15 million sperm per milliliter of semen, while a low sperm count is defined as fewer than 15 million sperm per milliliter.
